A Campbell Conversations debate: Should NYS hold a constitutional convention?

Hank Dullea, left, and John Mannion, right, debate whether New York should hold a constitutional convention

On the ballot in New York this Election Day, is a referendum on whether or not to hold a state constitutional convention. If approved, the entire state government structure could be up for reform, or even up for grabs.

This week, Grant Reeher moderates a debate on that question. Arguing in favor of a constitutional convention is Hank Dullea, who among other things, is a former director of state operations and policy management for former Gov. Mario Cuomo. Arguing against is John Mannion, president of the West Genesee Teacher's Association and a science teacher in the West Genesee school district.

The conversation continued after the broadcast portion of the debate concluded. That audio is below.
