Democrats in the House of Representatives are moving ahead with the impeachment process this week.
The House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing regarding the "Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment" at 10 a.m. to hear from expert witnesses. The Judiciary committee is tasked with drafting potential articles of impeachment. Watch here, online, or listen on-air across central and northern New York.
On Monday, House Republicans released a 123-page report in which they pushed back against the impeachment investigation into President Trump, stating that Democrats have not proven "evidence of bribery, extortion, or any high crime or misdemeanor."
Democrats on Tuesday released a report summarizing their case. The majority of the House Intelligence Committee, led by Chairman Adam Schiff, released the report that set the stage for today's hearing by the House Judiciary Committee.
