Snow accumulations expected from Sunday to late Monday.

Winter storm warnings are in effect for all of central and northern New York until 4 a.m. Tuesday. According to the National Weather Service, snow will begin during the day Sunday, with 2-4 inches possible by Sunday night. Snow will continue overnight, with another 2-4 inches possible by Monday morning. Another 3-5 inches are possible by the time the storm moves out of the region late Monday night. Total accumulations for the storm will range from 8-12 inches around the region from Sunday afternoon to late Monday night.

With the snow expected to fall over a 24 hour period, the impact on Monday's commute won't be as severe as with last Monday's storm, but roads will still be snow covered and slippery. You can find real time traffic conditions from the Department of Transportation and we will keep you updated on any school delays or closings.
