When children are abused, police, teachers and parents can only do so much to comfort a child living in trauma and fear. For the past decade, the Syracuse chapter of the worldwide organization, "Bikers Against Child Abuse" or B.A.C.A. has helped emotionally empower abused children in a way that others can't. WRVO's Mark Lavonier recently visited the group during one of their public meetings and has this audio postcard.

Mark is the local host of "All Things Considered" weekdays. He's also the host and producer of "Tuned to Yesterday" which showcases shows and stories from radio's golden age.
