Sixteen contestants in two divisions: Junior-not yet graduated from HS and Senior-HS grads-age 26 compete for monetary prizes. Every contestant performs each of the 3-day event from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. (approximately). The competition is open to the public at no charge (donations accepted). Seating is provided in the performance tent or bring your own chair to sit on the lawn. Juniors perform first each day starting at 9 a.m. Lunch break about noon. Seniors perform in the afternoon. Sunday all performances end about noon- 1 p.m. Awards announced after a lunch break. NCPR sponsored.
