Watch live: Biden introduces his health team, with focus on coronavirus planning

President-elect Joe Biden is formally announcing his pick for health secretary and other key health positions. In his statement released Monday, he announced that he will nominate -- Xavier Becerra to lead the Health and Human Services Department, Dr. Rochelle Walensky as director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Jeff Zients as the White House coordinator of the coronavirus response, Dr. Vivek Murthy as surgeon general, Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith as the lead of a new task force aimed at reducing disparities in response, care and treatment for COVID-19 and Dr. Anthony Fauci will continue his role as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
