Donate today so WRVO can continue to bring you NPR News
Our members make everything you hear on WRVO possible. From live coverage of Senate Judiciary hearings to reports on flooding from the shore of Lake Ontario, donations are behind the unparalleled coverage you’ve come to expect.
Earlier this year, we set our goal for the spring fundraiser, but we came up a bit short. That’s why we’re coming on the air for a couple days this week to ask for your help.
This is a big year for WRVO. We’ve been a fixture of central New York for 50 years and can now be heard in the North Country, Southern Tier, Mohawk Valley and wherever you are with our streaming services. It’s been a successful run so far, and we look forward to bringing you more news and more ways to enjoy that news in the future.
We need around $30,000 to pay for NPR News and the programs you enjoy each day. Thanks to $50 gifts received in May, we’re actually already $10,000 towards that goal. The sooner we receive your contribution, the sooner we’ll be done fundraising. If you’ve never donated before, now is a great time. And if you’re already a member, thank you. Consider an additional $50 gift to mark this special anniversary year and to bring WRVO to other listeners in central and northern New York.
Donate today to keep WRVO a part of the region for decades to come.
