WRVO Public Media is celebrating a milestone in 2019. On January 6, 1969, WRVO aired its very first broadcast. Through the year, we'll be commemorating our 50th birthday with special events, announcements, programs and more -- all available here.We couldn't have done this without you, our listeners and members. We hope you'll spend time with us this year, either by listening or at one of our special events. You’ve counted on WRVO for 50 years to provide you with in-depth, commercial-free news and analysis. As we look forward to the next 50 years we are counting on you, our listeners, to support us as we evolve and grow with the world around us.

Your support will help WRVO as we continue to add transmitters and provide streaming and news services wherever you are online. By helping us financially you are helping us keep up with the times as well as with the future of public radio.

WRVO’s fundraising goal this year is $165,000. We start on Saturday, October 19 at 8 a.m.
