Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep with a lesson for crooks. If you're going to disguise yourself as a TV character make sure your costume is compatible with the crime.
A clerk was standing in a San Diego 7-Eleven when Gumby walked in. Or rather a person dressed as Gumby - the claymation character from TV. The clerk thought it was a joke so the robber tried to reach for his gun. And that's when the costume's bulky green gloves got in the way. Gumby and an accomplice fled.
