With just days to go before party primaries, candidates around New York are making their final pitches to voters.

There’s only one statewide primary, and that’s for state comptroller.

New York Public News Network reporters Jimmy Vielkind and Jon Campbell break down the latest on that race, as well as some other races they're watching.

Jimmy Vielkind covers how state government and politics affect people throughout New York. He has covered Albany since 2008, most recently as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal.
Jon Campbell covers the New York State Capitol for WNYC and Gothamist.
