Calling all art lovers, collectors, and enthusiasts to Arlo Midtown on Wednesday, July 31st, from 6-8 p.m. for the latest installation in Arlo's Living Room Gallery featuring Angels Grau!

The Arlo Living Room Gallery Series, created and curated by Jasmine Arakel, aims to bring contemporary art into publicly accessible spaces at Arlo Hotels. In partnership with Nicolas Auvray Gallery and for a limited time, Arlo is thrilled to exhibit paintings by Angels Grau throughout the hotel for the public to enjoy.

The event will allow people to observe the new art installation, meet the artist, mingle with like-minded socialites, and sip on specialty drinks in the hotel’s buzzing social spaces, such as the rooftop ART Midtown. The evening will even feature a short discussion with the artist about the new paintings and the inspiration behind them.

The artist, Angel Grau, grew up in a family of artists and was always surrounded by drawings, tapestries, and paintings, which she channeled into becoming a graphic designer and painter. She became a full-time artist in 2018 and specializes in large-format paintings.

This self-taught artist's recent works blur the boundaries of the canvas, striving to expand and occupy space in new and exciting ways, while she constantly shifts between different series, staying true to her emotions and letting her artistic journey guide her.
