Mindfulness for Neurodivergents: Mindful health for every brain
Mindfulness for Neurodivergents: Mindful health for every brain
Mindfulness is often portrayed as creating calm, stillness, and a quiet mind. But for many, especially those with neurodivergent brains or lived trauma, this can feel frustrating and counterproductive.
The truth is, mindfulness isn't one-size-fits-all. In this class, experience guided meditation, focused attention, and mindful movement practices to sample a buffet of practices to promote present moment awareness.
Chairs are provided, but bring a mat if you prefer to sit on the floor. All are welcome — you don't need to identify as neurodivergent to attend!
Registration is recommended on the NOPL Event Calendar.
