Professor Louie & The Crowmatix

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix

Grammy-nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix from Woodstock, N.Y., have been expanding the borders of the Americana, roots, and blues genres since the early 2000s.

Their repertoire continually expands with songs from their 17 original albums, as well as music Louie learned and helped create with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group The Band. Louie collaborated with The Band for over 15 years, co-producing their last three CDs (including comeback hits "Atlantic City" and "Blind Willie McTell") and much of their '90s repertoire. (Fun fact: Rick Danko gave Louie the moniker "Professor Louie"!)

The group's connection with audiences helps create a family rapport, offering a show that is constantly evolving with elements of rock 'n' roll, blues, folk, and gospel.

Featuring:

  • Professor Louie: Keyboards, vocals, accordion
  • Frank Campbell: Bass, vocals
  • Todd Mihan: Guitar
  • Eric Puente: Drums
