In this eight-week series, students will learn the foundational skills for throwing pots on the wheel. By breaking down their inspirational photo or picture to its basic design elements, students will use fused appliqué and free motion quilting to realize their vision. Quilts are made in a collage method on a quilted background. Machine quilting completes and enhances the design elements. Some hand stitching may be included to complete the design. This class is a dive into the art of landscape quilts.
