Madeleine Kunin

On this week's edition of the Campbell Conversations, Grant Reeher talks with former Vermont Governor and U.S. Ambassador Madeleine Kunin.  Kunin's latest book is The New Feminist Agenda.  She argues that the new frontiers in the fight for women's equality lie in family and child-friendly policies that help both women and men, and which ultimately strengthen the economy.  She also discusses the important differences that result from having more women involved in politics.

Grant Reeher is a Political Science Professor and Senior Research Associate at the Campbell Public Affairs Institute at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship. He is also creator, host and program director of “The Campbell Conversations” on WRVO, a weekly regional public affairs program featuring extended in-depth interviews with regional and national writers, politicians, activists, public officials, and business professionals.
