Take Your Trash to Work Week

Oswego, New York – A local grassroots effort is underway, to raise personal and public awareness of the amount of garbage generated by society.

Karin Howe, a part-time student and academic tutor at Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College, organized the project called "Take Your Trash to Work Week."

WRVO's Jasmyn Belcher spoke with Howe about the "Trash Challenge" that started on Monday.
