Deputy Commander Speaks About Accomplishments in Afghanistan

Oswego, NY – Nearly 1700 members of a Syracuse based national guard unit recently passed the halfway point in their deployment to Afghanistan.

One of the main responsibilities of the 27th Brigade Combat Team is the training of Afghan national police and military forces.

WRVO's Jason Smith spoke with Colonel Gary Yaple, a Syracuse-area resident and deputy Commander of the brigade about their accomplishments so far.
