New Book Analyzes Bird Distributions in New York

By Jason Smith

Oswego, NY – A new study shows that more than half of New York's birds have seen dramatic changes in their distribution over the last 2 decades.

The findings, published in "The Second Atlas of Breeding Birds in New York State", show that changes in land management may be more of a factor in population changes than climate change.

WRVO's Jason Smith reports.
