Oswego, NY – Democrat Tom DiNapoli has a Republican challenger in the race for state comptroller.
Harry Wilson of Westchester County announced his campaign Tuesday in a letter to supporters.
Wilson served on President Obama's automotive industry task force and worked at four different financial firms, including Goldman Sachs.
Wilson says his role in assessing investors and making decisions for those companies would serve him well if elected comptroller.
The President's automotive task force is the group responsible for the overhaul of General Motors and Chrysler.
DiNapoli, a former Assemblyman, has served as comptroller since 2007.
