NY School Districts Plan to Raise Prop. Taxes by 3% This Year

Albany, NY – A survey by the state school boards association finds that schools
across New York will be raising property taxes by an average of 3.2%,
and that many schools will be cutting spending overall, due to the
state budget crisis.
