Oswego County Native Held in Military Custody

Oswego, NY – A member of the Navy from Mexico, NY is in military custody. Bryan Minkyu Martin is suspected of trying to sell military secrets. Martin is a Specialist Third Class working at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

According to an article in the Fayetteville Observer, a search warrant made public last week alleges that Martin took cash in exchange for documents labeled 'secret' and 'top secret' at a meeting with an undercover FBI agent posing as a foreign spy. Martin allegedly said he would sell secrets because he wanted financial security.
Martin has not yet been charged with a crime. He's currently being held in a military jail in Virginia.
