Oswego, NY – Oren Lyons is Faithkeeper of the Turtle Clan of the Onondaga Nation. In this conversation he relates the governance structure and decision-making processes of the Nation, and how they are woven into the Nation's spiritual heritage as a complete way of life--one that emphasizes respect and consensus. Lyons also explains why the Nation chose not to pursue gambling and casinos as a source of income, and its recent involvement with the Hydrofracking issue.
