Oswego, NY – BRIANNE 6/8/11 JG

Syracuse attorney Brianne Murphy is the first Democrat to file with the Federal Election Commission for a possible 2012 run against Republican Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle.

As WRVO's Joyce Gramza reports, Murphy says she wants people in the 25th congressional district to have the same opportunities she's appreciated.

Murphy says she hopes to make the decision on whether to run in the next few weeks.
