Stillbirth Bill Passed by NY Legislature

By Joyce Gramza

Oswego, NY – Parents who have experienced the tragedy of a stillbirth in New York State have won a big victory.

WRVO's Joyce Gramza reports, a bill passed by both the senate and assembly would put a name, and numbers, to their losses.

Unlike some bills in other states, this bill states that it avoids serious problems by not referring to the fetus as an "unborn child."
