New map highlights effort to draw people to Western Adirondacks

OLD FORGE, NY – A green group called the Adirondack Council says it wants to help promote the Western Adirondacks as a destination. The group unveiled a map Wednesday in Old Forge highlighting an area that it describes as the "Bob Marshall Wild Lands Complex." That name isn't official, but WRVO's Joanna Richards tells us state and local leaders say they think the idea could draw new visitors to the park.
