Lisa Mullins hosts the American broadcast of the BBC documentary series "The Changing World, " which focuses on such issues as Muslims and modernity, and the black market trade in guns. She co-produced "The Vegetable Chronicles, " an award-winning series of public radio documentaries about diet and disease. For six years, Mullins hosted the American broadcast of the annual Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day concert.

"I guess I don't sound terribly Aussie on the air", she says. "But there's a good reason for that. When I arrived in England in the 1960's from Australia, the kids at school used to tease me all the time because of my Aussie accent. It used to drive me nuts so the accent had to go ! Unfortunately, when I got went back to Australia in 1975, I sounded so posh that I got teased again for being a Pom! I just couldn't win."

Rachel Ward joined NPR's Morning Edition in 2012. She works as a producer and coordinates coverage across shifts. She previously served as the founding editor of the Innovation Trail, a collaborative reporting project on the economy of upstate New York. Ward has covered business and the economy for WXXI in Rochester, N.Y., and has hosted broadcasts at WXXI, WOUB in Athens, Ohio, and WRUW in Cleveland, Ohio. She has an M.A. from Ohio University's Scripps College of Communication.

Before creating the Snap Judgment radio show, Glynn worked as an educator, diplomat, community activist, actor, political strategist, fist-shaker, mountain-hollerer, and foot stomper. Glynn composed music for the Kunst Stoff dance performances in San Francisco, rocked live spoken word poetry in Detroit, joined a band in Indonesia, wrote several screenplays, painted a daring series of self portraits, released a blues album, and thinks his stories are best served with cocktails.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, the year the Beatles arrived in America, Jim DeRogatis began voicing his opinions about rock ’n’ roll shortly thereafter. He is a full-time lecturer in the Professional Writing Program of the English Department at Columbia College Chicago and continues to write about popular music for WBEZ Chicago at its Vocalo blogs. Together with Greg Kot of The Chicago Tribune, he co-hosts “Sound Opinions” —“the world’s only rock ’n’ roll talk show”—originating at WBEZ and distributed nationally on public radio via PRX.
