Don't pick up that phone! It's Foneless February at WRVO

We're keeping the phones quiet this February, once again, to cut down on on-air fundraising in March.

WRVO is making a silent request for contributions. That means all of your favorite programs with no interruptions at all, but we need your help to make this month a success. "Foneless February" helps make our spring fundraiser shorter because any donation received will reduce on-air fundraising heard in the future.

Donate today to participate in Foneless February.

For every $2,000 raised in February, we'll eliminate one hour of on-air fundraising in March. Then, at the end of February, we add all of the contributions up and decide how many hours we need to subtract from what would be a one-week drive. The money received in February goes into our member pool. We use the member pool money during the spring fundraiser to challenge listeners to call -- and it works!

You can donate today, reduce on-air fundraising and entice other listeners to donate!

Make your contribution online, anytime during the month of February or mail your check to WRVO Public Media, 7060 State Route 104, Oswego, NY 13126 (make the check payable to WRVO).

Don't forget -- there are other ways to donate to WRVO. Donate your time during our spring fundraiser by manning a chair on our phone bank. It's fun and fulfilling. Volunteer today!

We look forward to hearing from you this February, as we keep our phones quiet. If you have questions, give us a call at (800) 341-3690 during regular business hours or email us.
