Missed Foneless February? There's still time to make a difference

Thank you to everyone who helped make Foneless February a success! We've spent the last month accepting donations quietly online and by mail, to keep our phones quiet and to keep our programming uninterrupted. Many of our long-time members, and even new listeners, stepped up to make a difference (donations collected during February will be used to entice others to donate during our fundraiser in March).

We know your schedules are busy and sometimes things slip your mind -- like supporting your local public radio station -- but don't fret! If you missed Foneless February, you can still make a difference ahead of our spring fundraiser. Donate today, while the phones are still quiet and we're gearing up for our on-air campaign.

Every dollar we receive in donations goes right back into the programming you hear everyday -- no exceptions. You can make a secure contribution a few different ways:

  • Call us during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and speak to any of our staff members. The number is (800) 341-3690 toll-free or (315) 312-3690 locally.
  • Donate online. The form is quick and easy, and it's available on our app and our mobile site. Donate on the go!
  • Send us a donation the old-fashioned way. Make your check payable to WRVO and mail it to 7060 State Route 104, Oswego, New York, 13126.

Call us in the meantime if you have any questions -- we're looking forward to a successful spring fundraiser! The drive starts on Wednesday, March 9. If you'd like to volunteer to answer phones during the fundraiser (an equally important donation), there's still time to sign up.

Recent cuts to federal funding are challenging our mission to serve central and upstate New York with trusted journalism, vital local coverage, and the diverse programming that informs and connects our communities. This is the moment to join our community of supporters and help keep journalists on the ground, asking hard questions that matter to our region.

Stand with public media and make your gift today—not just for yourself, but for all who depend on WRVO as a trusted resource and civic cornerstone in central and upstate New York.
