On Saturday, February 29, NPR will provide special coverage of the South Carolina Primary from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. as the results are tallied. This will preempt “Live Wire!” and “The Moth.” NPR’s Michel Martin and Sarah McCammon will co-host the special coverage, along with members of the NPR Politics Team, newsmakers and other guests. On Tuesday, March 3, NPR will provide special coverage of the Super Tuesday primaries and caucuses. The 14 states voting on March 3 are -- Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. On-air coverage will begin at 8 p.m. and continue until 1 a.m. This will preempt the following programs -- "The Capital Pressroom," "Q," "Tuned to Yesterday" and "Fresh Air." The Super Tuesday coverage will be hosted by NPR's Ari Shapiro from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., Lulu Garcia-Navarro from 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., Steve Inskeep from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., and David Greene from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Listen Tuesday, March 3 at 8 p.m. on-air and online.
