Bowling for Autism

The CNY inaugural Bowling for Autism event will be on Saturday, May 13 at B’ville Sports Bowl, 45 E. Genesee St., Baldwinsville.

There will be bowling, music by The Guy Young Band and a raffle. All of the funds that Bowling for Autism donates stays local. The cost is $25 a person and includes two games, shoes and a $5 food voucher. Tickets for the raffle are $5 an arm length.

The first recipient of Bowling for Autism CNY is FamiliesFIRST, formerly known as Feat of CNY. FamiliesFIRST is a nonprofit group that supports families who have children with autism and other special needs. FamiliesFIRST provides family training, respite, therapy, sensory items, items to make your home safe, care packages/groceries and events for families to attend.

The group sponsors and conducts free dental practice visits for children. FamiliesFIRST is located in the Baldwinsville/Clay area and has been serving Onondaga County for over 20 years.
