Through time, the sounds of nature have inspired wonderful musical, poetic, and artistic dreams all around the world: from rushing waterfalls to gentle drops of rain and melting icicles….to birdsong and crickets…and so much more.

Drawing upon the diverse sounds of nature throughout the four seasons, Bells & Motley are excited to bring audiences on a musical journey using a gamut of historical instruments for a good measure of surprise: A beautiful introduction to the evocative connection between music and nature.

This concert will feature historic instruments and music to highlight a collection of meaningful traditions from different cultures. Our Baltimore Woods Nature Center setting, surrounded by forest, will bring us to especially focus on the connection of music and wonder. Music will be played from 2-3 p.m. and musicians will be available to answer questions and learn more about the instruments.
