"Navigators of the Shadow Ring," a film by SUNY Oswego Cinema & Screen Studies Professor Jacob Dodd, is a 4 chapter cliffhanger adventure film modeled after the 1930s and 40s Republic Pictures' theatrical serials.

During the international conflicts of the 1950s, a modest crop-dusting pilot searches for his heroic brother after he vanishes at the hands of a masked villain obsessed with bringing the world's superpowers to their knees.
