Free Film: "Flow"
Free Film: "Flow"
Utica University’s free "Films on Thursday" series concludes its spring 2026 season with the animated feature "Flow."
After a catastrophic flood destroys his home, a solitary cat joins forces with a bird, a capybara, a dog, and a lemur. Together, they navigate a submerged world in a small boat, searching for dry land and learning to coexist.
An inspiring tale that explores friendship, community, and the environment, "Flow" set box office records in Latvia and became a global sensation. This visual spectacular was produced using free and open-source software and won the Academy Award for best animated feature film.
