SUNY Oswego's Living Writers Series is back again this year! Join the English and Creative Writing Department to hear from author Sara Borjas on Monday, September 15, from 3-4:20 p.m.

Sara Borjas’s debut poetry collection, "Heart Like a Window, Mouth Like a Cliff," won the 2020 American Book Award. She was named one of Poet & Writers' 2019 Debut Poets and was the recipient of the 2014 Blue Mesa Poetry Prize. She has received fellowships from MacDowell, CantoMundo, The Poetry Foundation and others. Her work can be found in AGNI, The Rumpus, The Gettysburg Review, Catapult, Ploughshares, Poem-a-Day by the Academy of American Poets, Alta, and The Offing. She teaches at California State University, East Bay.
