Tyler Art Gallery: "She is on Her Way" Opening Reception

Tyler Art Gallery: "She is on Her Way" Opening Reception

"Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing." — Arundhati Roy

Join us at the Tyler Art Gallery for the opening reception of "She is on Her Way." This exhibition, on view from Jan. 27 through Feb. 26, features artwork by individuals exploring concepts of femininity—whether they identify as women, men, trans, or non-binary.

The collection explores various expressions of femininity and what it means to embrace them. By taking an intersectional approach to feminism, the artists examine how the connections between race, age, gender dysphoria, and queerness impact people across a spectrum of identities.

  • Reception Date: Thursday, Jan. 29, 5–7 p.m.
  • Featured Artists: Quinn Alexander Hunter, Robin Tobias, Mads Leach, and John Michael Byrd.
  • Exhibition Dates: Jan. 27 – Feb. 26.
