Ring in 2025 at Arlo SoHo’s NYE celebration! Starting at 9 p.m., Arlo SoHo will transform into an unparalleled New Year’s Eve extravaganza on its ground floor and ART SoHo rooftop for a night of elegance, celebrations and 360-degree views of the city skyline. Event highlights include an exceptional four-hour premium open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., tasty light bites passed throughout the night, live music and dancers, and additional surprise activations to toast the New Year.

Ring in the New Year at Arlo Williamsburg in North Brooklyn. The eight-story hotel perfectly combines the neighborhood’s eclectic style with unmatched service, making it the ideal spot to celebrate the countdown to 2025. This New Year’s Eve, Azure and Arlo Williamsburg will host New Year’s Eve 2025 at Arlo Williamsburg, three unique James Bond-inspired concepts in each of the hotel’s event spaces, including “The Royale Ballroom” in The Ballroom, “Diamonds are Forever” in the Mirror Bar and “Skyfall” in the Water Tower featuring electrifying sounds by DJ Luke Alexander. All admission tickets ($40-$135) include access to the two-hour premium open bar. Bottle service and table reservations are also available$100-$300). Guests can also stop by the hotel’s on-site restaurant, Sungold, to indulge in delicious Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including the famous Celery Root Latkes, before partying the night away into 2025.

FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to fostering community engagement, announces the opening of applications for its highly acclaimed Winter/Spring 2025 Citizens Academy. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, January 1, offering an opportunity for the community to deepen their understanding of local governance and community involvement.

The Citizens Academy is an interactive 11-week educational program designed to familiarize participants with the structure of local governments, funding mechanisms for services, and strategies for community engagement. Through in-person sessions focused on economic vitality, social equity, and environmental health, participants gain insights essential for active civic participation.
