Join us for Together We HEAL, a healing circle event presented by the 42nd Precinct Neighborhood Safety Council at Commonpoint Bronx.

The NSC will be creating a space for the community to come in and heal through arts, basketball, games, reading music, dance, and more.

This interactive forum features real-life actors performing improv and a therapeutic wellness panel designed to spark healthy, supportive community conversations.

Come explore the fascinating world of land snails and slugs with an educational walk and presentation led by Marla Coppolino, a malacologist. We will learn how land snails play a vital role in the ecosystem. After this program, you will have knowledge and respect for snails.

Choir! Choir! Choir! is a fully interactive, participatory show that turns the audience into performers. Get ready to laugh, dance, and sing your heart out with hundreds of other music lovers. It is like a massive birthday party for the greatest songs of all time—and you’re invited.

Grab a friend (or 10) and come out ready to give it all you’ve got. All voices are welcome and no experience is necessary. They teach, you sing!

This performance features "Landslide: An Epic Fleetwood Mac Sing-Along." Nothing feels better than belting out classics with a room full of fans. Channel your inner Stevie Nicks, grab your best friends, and create harmonies that will leave you breathless.

Since 2011, directors Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman have blurred the lines between performer and audience, traveling the world to create harmony with strangers and friends alike. They have collaborated with renowned artists such as Patti Smith, David Byrne, Brandi Carlile, Rick Astley, Rufus Wainwright, and even Kermit the Frog at New York’s Lincoln Center. Now it’s your turn to sing.

Join FOCUS for a hybrid public forum examining the intersection of food insecurity, health care, and community advocacy, and how these systems work together to shape community health and well-being in central New York. Panelists will share perspectives from the Food Bank of Central New York and the health care sector, offering insight into the role of food access in overall health, the work of the Food Bank to support individuals and families across the region, and the ways policy, systems, and advocacy influence both food security and health outcomes. The discussion will highlight how civic engagement pathways, such as advocacy, community involvement, and public participation, support solutions that strengthen access to food and health-related resources. After opening remarks from our panel, the conversation moves into a moderated Q&A, allowing attendees to ask questions, reflect on the connections between food access and health care, and explore how residents can engage at the civic level through advocacy, volunteering, and support of community initiatives. This forum offers a welcoming, respectful space for community members to learn, engage, and explore meaningful pathways to strengthen the civic life of central New York.
