The rising of medicaid, the health insurance program for the poor and disabled, has been blamed for creating much of the fiscal problems facing county governments across the state. One county executive has had enough. Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi is calling for dumping an incumbent republican state senator and an incumbent democrat assembly member in each county until state government responds to the medicaid crisis. WRVO's Chris Ulanowski asked Suozzi to explain the budget problems in his county that prompted his call for an "incumbent attack."
