Constantia, NY – The Carrier Corporation's announcement last October that it was eliminating 1,200 jobs in Syracuse was a blow to both the region and the company's employees. Many workers who have spent decades at Carrier face uncertain futures once the company's Syracuse manufacturing operation shuts down for good in April. WRVO's Skye Rohde has this glimpse into the life of Pete Renne, who is one of these men.
