WRVO Public Media is organizing a nine-day Discovery Tour of the American Southwest in October, 2014. This once-in-a-lifetime tour departs on Thursday, October 9 and begins in the colorful city of Scottsdale, Arizona, takes you on a journey through the visually stunning Grand Canyon, Monument Valley (the Navajo Nation equivalent to a national park), Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park. Also on the itinerary are Oak Creek Canyon, Kaibab National Forest, and Lake Powell, ending our trip in the exciting city of Las Vegas!

This trip begins on Thursday, October 9 and lasts through the following Friday, October 17. Included in the price: roundtrip airfare from Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, NY; air taxes and fees/surcharges; and hotel transfers. This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestone streets.
