Who wants more programming with less on-air fundraising?

Answer: you (and everyone else).

WRVO will try to make that happen tomorrow at 7 a.m., when we try to raise an entire day's worth of money in just one hour. By 8 a.m. we'll be done, and you'll have the rest of the day fundraising-free.

It gets better -- your dollars will be matched during this time, up to $15,000. If you donate $100, it counts as $200. If you've set aside $250 for WRVO this year -- it becomes $500. This is a special one-hour challenge, and the only hour you'll hear us on the air (asking for money) all day long. It's the perfect time to donate because your dollars will be doubled.

Jot it down on your calendar, tell Siri to set a reminder, or write it down on a sticky note. WRVO Public Media wants to raise $15,000 in one hour, from 7 - 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, on the first day of our fall fund drive.

Donate now.

It's going to be a fast-paced hour, but we know that you'll support us when we need it most. Get it out of the way, on the first day, get your dollars doubled and help us bring you more news with less on-air fundraising.

Thanks from everyone at WRVO.
