You made our fall fundraiser a huge success, thank you

All we can say is thank you, thank you -- thank you! Our fall fundraiser was a huge success this year and, like always, you're the ones we have to thank for that!

Public radio has an interesting way of paying bills. The service is free at first, and then we ask you all to donate to support the product you've already been using and enjoying. And it works! The phones start ringing and we can continue to say that our listeners are our most reliable source of funding. All of the money we receive from listeners and members goes right back into the programming you'll hear today, and tomorrow, and the next day.

Thank you to all of our listeners for your generous contributions during our fall fundraiser!

We were able to raise nearly $230,000 during this fund drive, including money that came in before the fundraiser and in the form of our member pool contributions. We received contributions from 1,147 listeners and we're expecting a few more to come in this week (some people wait beyond the last minute!).

Each and every one of you are so important to what we do every single day. We cannot stress the fact enough that you do put the public in public radio. We look forward to reading over any comments you left along with donations in the coming weeks. If you have anything else to say or still want to donate, let us know! You can reach any of our staff members, including the membership department, by calling (315) 312-3690 or (800) 341-3690.

Thank you again for all of your generosity. We look forward to bringing you regional news, community events, heartfelt storytelling, breaking news, new perspectives, inspiring ideas, riveting interviews and more in the years to come!

Recent cuts to federal funding are challenging our mission to serve central and upstate New York with trusted journalism, vital local coverage, and the diverse programming that informs and connects our communities. This is the moment to join our community of supporters and help keep journalists on the ground, asking hard questions that matter to our region.
