Live recording of the 'Says You!' Utica show scheduled to air

Laura Sher

Public radio’s quintessential quiz show, "Says You!" visited central New York at the beginning of this month to mark WRVO’s 50th anniversary and now WRVO’s listeners will be able to hear the live recording.

The cast of "Says You!" returned to the area for two live show tapings, one in Syracuse at the Palace Theatre and the other in Utica at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.  The "Says You!" Utica show was sold out and if you weren’t one of the lucky audience members to experience this witty and boisterous event you can hear it this Saturday, November 16 at noon on WRVO. The Syracuse show does not have an air date at this time but WRVO will keep you updated.

"Says You!", the "last word in radio quiz shows" began in 1996 and airs weekly from coast to coast. The current cast is comprised of Carolyn Faye Fox, Murray Horwitz, Tony Kahn, Lenore Shannon and Barry Nolan. The recording was hosted by Dave Zobel and the special guest for the panel was Professor Phil Klinkner of Hamilton College. For more information about "Says You!" visit their website. WRVO airs episodes of "Says You!" weekly, Saturdays at noon.
