A new partnership between the American Red Cross and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is helping small business owners ensure they're ready for disasters and giving them a potential lifeline.

The Chamber has called for legislative action on climate, but the business group didn't take climate into account when evaluating U.S. lawmakers' voting records, an environmental think tank says.
