The Capital Region's hometown fair features midway rides, live music on two stages, the Royal Hanneford Circus, Sea Lion Splash Show, racing pigs, a demolition derby, Comedy Magician Dewayne Hill, animal barns, livestock shows, Uncharted Wild exotic reptiles, Lumberjack Show, Altamont Country Store, Blue Ribbon Cooking Center activities, exhibits, demonstrations, favorite fair food and more.

Daily highlights:
• Tuesday: Miss Altamont Fair Pageant (10 am), Country recording artist Jordan Stoner (6 pm)
• Wednesday: 4-H Rabbit/Cavy Show (10 am), Union Depot (6:30 pm)
• Thursday: Ice Cream Social (3 pm), Corgi Races (6 pm),
• Friday: Lucky E Rodeo (5 pm), Big Sky Country (7 pm)
• Saturday: Open Horse Show (10 am), Pro Wrestling Exhibition (6 pm), Aquanet (7 pm)
• Sunday: Tame the Rooster (5 pm), Demolition Derby and Power Wheels Demo Derby (6 pm)

Admission: $10 on Tuesday; $15 Wednesday - Sunday; free for ages 10 & younger; free Wednesday for ages 65+, Grange members, active military & veterans (ID required)

Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 Tuesday and $30 Wednesday - Sunday, or $25 online before Aug. 13. Ride tickets are also available on the midway.

Fair gates open at noon on Tuesday and 10 am Wednesday - Sunday. Midway hours: 2-10 pm Tuesday, noon-10 pm Wednesday - Thursday, noon-11 pm Friday - Saturday, noon-8 pm Sunday
