Join the Cayuga Museum & Schweinfurth Art Center on Saturday, April 25, for our Creative Explorers Family Free Day! Families will explore the museum and art center through special scavenger hunts to earn a special prize. Come enjoy the Spring weather and celebrate National Poetry Month by joining us to create our own poems about nature and the world around us in the Cayuga Museum’s Classroom on the ground floor.

Admission to the Museum and Art Center is free for families.

Celebrate Earth Week and the start of the growing season at Earthfest 2026! Enjoy food, live music, and explore our educational farm while participating in hands-on workshops and activities. Pick up free plants and connect with local organizations tabling with information and resources for the community.

Join us outdoors, rain or shine, in our natural amphitheater to picnic, to welcome in the May-O! Watch Maypole dances to live music, participate in a Cake Walk, and see a marionette puppet show. Crafts for kids, bake sale, plant sale, and a free book swap. Free admission--county-fare-style tickets sold at the door for select activities.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) follows farm boy Luke Skywalker as he joins the Rebel Alliance to rescue Princess Leia from the tyrannical Galactic Empire.
