When Alice chases the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, she tumbles into a curious world with a zany cast of characters, including the Mad Hatter, a grinning Cheshire Cat, a mischievous Caterpillar, and the imperious Queen of Hearts. This musical adaptation of the timeless classic celebrates the wonder of imagination!

"Li’l Sprouts" parent and child classes provide a gentle Waldorf morning designed for the very young and their caregivers. Led by Master Teacher Karen Lonsky, the program offers indoor and outdoor play spaces where babies and toddlers under age 3 can explore a nurturing rhythm that supports play, imagination, and imitation.

The sessions include interacting with your little one through activities like snack preparation, movement, circle games, and nature exploration. Guided by an experienced Waldorf teacher, caregivers will also discuss parenting topics such as:

• Early childhood discipline
• Healthy home rhythms
• Media and technology in family life
• Mealtime with children
• Attendance: Available as a drop-in class or a series of seven Mondays this early spring.
• Audience: For children under age 3 and their parents or caregivers.

Stories, Songs, and Sounds! is a free, family-centered literacy experience where parents and children ages 7 and under engage in interactive reading, music, and language activities while joining a collective community read-aloud celebrating early literacy.

Whether you’re a robotics enthusiast or just curious to learn more about robots, you’ll be inspired by the innovation and creativity on display at FLX REX (Finger Lakes Robotics Expo) at the museum. Experience exciting robotics demonstrations, student-built competition robots, and hands-on activities featuring technology from across the region.

Admission to FLX REX activities is included with regular museum admission. As always, kids and teens 17 and under receive free admission.

Event Highlights

• Robotics Scrimmage: High-energy match play and cutting-edge engineering take center stage in the auditorium as 14 robotics teams face off in live scrimmages throughout the day.
• Law Enforcement Bots: Explore real-world robotics up close as industry bots are showcased. Learn how automation and robotics play a vital role in modern policing and public safety.
• Drone Soccer: Experience fast-paced excitement in the Innovations Center. Watch skilled pilots maneuver drones through goals in a tech-driven sport combining strategy and precision flying.
• Robot Mario Kart: Head to the Gather Gallery to watch robots race through a custom course inspired by the classic game.
• Hot Glass Demonstrations: Drop by the amphitheater to watch the Hot Glass Team create robot-inspired designs. Watch molten glass transformed into mechanical creations right before your eyes.

Celebrate the success of the 2025-26 United Way of Cayuga County Campaign with a pizza party at the Auburn YMCA! This free, family-friendly event features pizza, raffles, YMCA tours, a complimentary day pass (excluding pool and e-gym), and a children’s activity.

Program

• 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Check-in and pizza party
• 6 p.m. – 6:40 p.m.: Formal program
• 6:40 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Open gym (Participants must fill out a waiver at the front desk and wear clean, dry sneakers)
