Join a thriving multicultural community at Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival, featuring over 120 local vendors and community organizations. Featuring handmade crafts such as pottery, jewelry, clothing, art, and much, much more; performances from local musicians and dance troupes; and a silent auction with items from Central New York's finest restaurants, shops, and entertainment, Plowshares is a two-day showcase of the kind of world we're working to build: one where joy, peace, and environmental sustainability are in abundance. Plowshares will be at Nottingham High School, located at 3100 E Genesee Street in Syracuse, on Saturday, December 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Elves of all sizes are invited to come create simple, beautiful, natural-material crafts for holiday giving. Our Early Childhood faculty presents three showings of a marionette puppet show appropriate for the very young and enjoyable for all. Magician Matt Jarman shares his wondrous illusions. Live music presented by alumni and friends of the school wafts over the Great Room, which houses a dozen local artisan vendors, and a dining area for food available for purchase from Stone Bend Farm, and a bake sale organized by our Middle Schoolers.
Stop by the book sale, check out the "Pay What You Will" table of quality toys, housewares, craft supplies. Watch out for the Pocket Fairy, who roams the halls-you'll know them by their fanciful cloak, and if you give them a ticket, they may let you choose a trinket from one of many pockets! Visit the Treasure Gnome's Cave as well-you won't see them, but send a ticket by boat around the darkened corner, and a gift will come sailing back to you!
