Clinton Symphony - A Celebration of Strings

Clinton Symphony of the Mohawk Valley

A Celebration of Strings

-dedicated to Joanna Moore-

The Clinton Symphony of the Mohawk Valley has come out from under the cloud of COVID and is ready to shine! We are delighted to announce our next concert, Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the Clinton Schools Performing Arts Complex.

Our new music director, Maestro Octavio Más-Arocas, will conduct the performance and will present a pre-concert lecture at 1:30.

The program will open with Gustav Holst’s delightful St. Paul’s Suite, followed by Benjamin Britten’s charming Simple Symphony, and the rousing Romanian Dances by Béla Bartók. Following intermission, the evocative Serenade for Strings, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, will close the concert.

Open-seating tickets are $35 for adults and FREE for all students (college students need ID). Tickets are available at the door, by phone: 315-404-2016, or mail your order, along with your tax-deductible donation, to Clinton Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 270, Clinton, NY 13323. COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
