New York's 22nd Congressional District includes all of Chenango, Cortland, Madison and Oneida counties and parts of Broome, Herkimer, Tioga and Oswego counties.0000017a-3c50-d913-abfe-bd54a86b0000Incumbent Richard Hanna (R-Barneveld) has announced he will retire. Claudia Tenney (R), New York state assemblywoman; Democrat Kim Myers; and Martin Babinec, a member of the Reform and Upstate Jobs parties will face off in November.It should also be noted that the retiring Hanna has not put his support behind fellow Republican Claudia Tenney.

Dan Lamb on the Campbell Conversations

Dan Lamb is running for Congress in New York's 22nd Congressional District against incumbent Republican Richard Hanna.

In this conversation with Grant Reeher, Lamb says Hanna's image as a moderate has been cultivated by positions taken at the margins. The Post-Standard once called him central New York's "man in the middle."

But Lamb says Hanna should be viewed as a member of the right wing Republican mainstream on the big issues and the big votes.

Reeher explores these criticisms with Lamb and probes Lamb's own views on hydrofracking, energy, transportation and the budget.
