I'll Be Seeing You, Part Three: Hacking ISIS

“Fire.” – With that one command a secret unit, Joint Task Force Ares, launched a 2016 classified military operation and cyber-attack against ISIS. NPR has been given exclusive access to the nearly dozen people involved in the operation.

In part three of “I’ll Be Seeing You,” NPR’s Dina Temple-Raston reporting will reveal, for the first time, how soldiers cracked into ISIS’s network and launched missions against the most dangerous terrorist organization in the world. Tune in Sunday, October 20 at 7 p.m. for more.
