Hamilton College Observatory Open to Public for Eclipse Viewing

The Hamilton College Observatory welcomes the public to view an annular solar eclipse. In an annular eclipse, the moon will cover the sun causing a portion of the sun to be blocked. If the weather allows, viewers using college-provided eclipse glasses will have the opportunity to watch the eclipse via a telescopic projection, Hamilton’s four-inch telescopes, and the observatory’s larger 12-inch Meade telescope.
